Carnivals

•  During Carnival time, the Bilbao City Council Cultural Department organises several activities for small children, such as the Aratuste Txiki, in Muelle de Ripa, featuring inflatable castles, costume workshops, tents, carnival figures with large heads, dance and other workshops. Children can also enjoy hot chocolate parties, children parades and barracks, among others.

Activities for children in the parks

•  During the first fortnight of July, activities for children are carried out in Bilbao parks (Arenal, Plaza Bizkaia, Parque Escurce and Parque de Zorroza). They are addressed to children over 3 years of age, who will enjoy inflatable castles, workshops, stilts games, juggling, aerobics, children library, theatre plays, etc.

Bilboko Kalealdia

•  During the first fortnight of July, in open air spaces of the city, shows and more in the streets at the Theatre and Arts Festival in the Streets. Artists take the Gran Vía, the Arenal and the Old Quarter, where they surprise passers by with plays, music and dance or other artistic events.

•  From 18 to 26 August, the Bilbao Great Week is celebrated, and activities for children take place, such as Txikipark in Muelle de Ripa, where the small ones can enjoy inflatable castles, workshops, plays, among other activities.
