History:
Built in Gothic Style in 1433.
The St. Anthony the Abbot Church was built on top of the ruins of the city's old fortress in the late 14 th century. Its elegant design appears in Bilbao´s shield behind the bridge that bears the same name. It has a beautiful Plateresque altarpiece made by Guiot de Beaugrant.
