History:
Built in Baroque style in 1743 by Loyola architect Ignacio de Ibero and inaugurated in 1756.
The St. Nicholas Church was built in honour of the patron saint of sailors. Its building enhances the urban environment of El Arenal. It was built in the mid 18 th century by Ignacio de Ibero y Erkizia in a moderately Baroque style. Its octagonal interior boasts magnificent altarpieces and sculptures by Juan de Mena.
