History:
Built in Basque Gothic style in 1556 by Juan de la Peña (portal, 1556), Martín Ibánez de Zalbidea (roof, 1650), and José María Basterra (belfry, 1894).
The St. Vincent Martyr of Abando Church is located in one of the streets delimiting the Albia Square. It is a beautiful Basque Gothic church dating back to the 16 th century, with a single-level floor plan, a Renaissance façade, and a magnificent high altarpiece. The memorial of poet laureate Antonio de Trueba is in the church's interior.
