Useful information:
The Basque Language Interpretation Centre aims to illustrate a series of basic facts about the Euskara language in a straightforward and comfortable manner.
··> the inherent value of Euskara
··> the main events in its background
··> its dialectical vigor
··> its creative and literary capacity
··> the value of its oral tradition...

The Centre is built round the general concept of travel: A TRIP ABOUT THE BASQUE LANGUAGE through the ages. For that reason the Interpretation Centre has been set out as if it were a train station, with its platforms, a tunnel, two train compartments and decorative features in line with the projected surroundings.
The Basque Language Interpretation Centre has been specifically prepared according to the visits it will receive. Therefore, both the premises and the contents offered are totally adapted to group visits.
Group visits: During the visits, a specialised guide will accompany the visitors around the whole route, explaining the different contents on display. The visits can be made in four languages (Basque, Spanish, English and French) and must be booked in advanced, bearing in mind they are aimed at groups of around 30 people .
Guided visits for schools:These visits are aimed at groups of schoolchildren: second and third year of primary education and first and second year of secondary education. The visits have been prepared for groups of around 30 schoolchildren and they will be lead by a specialised guide.
Equipped for the disabled: The centre has an access lift for people with physical disabilities, and the toilets have also been equipped to attend to their needs .
Among the services offered by the centre are the cloakroom and the information point.
If you are interested in visiting the Basque Language Interpretation Centre please call 94 405 23 83 or request a visit here.
