Arriquibar Square
Small, bucolic square with inviting tall lime trees.

La Alhóndiga
Inaugurated in 1909, it was built by Ricardo de Bastida y Bilbao. Its reinforced concrete structure allowed it to remain intact after the 1919 fire. La Alhóndiga has been refurbished and is now awaiting its opening as a major cultural centre in Bilbao.

Plaza Indautxu
The square is the heart of Bilbao's modern residential area, which is also a commercial centre. Fashion boutiques abound in Iparraguirre, Ercilla, Rodríguez Arias and Máximo Aguirre streets, while Licenciado Poza street is full of bars and taverns where typical pintxos can be tasted.

Nuestra Señora del Carmen Church)
This modern church is located on one of the streets flanking the Indautxu square.

BullringBullring
Called "Vista Alegre" (Nice view), the bullring was rebuilt in 1962 by Luis Gana, since a fire had destroyed the old one, in neo-Arabic style, the year before. It holds 15,000 spectators
