Guggenheim Museum Bilbao
Magnificent building by Frank Gerhy combining a steel frame, rock and titanium sheathing. A contemporary art museum, the European branch of the Solomon Guggenheim Foundation, it has become Bilbao's new icon.
Pedro Arrupe Bridge
This steel and wood bridge was designed by José Antonio Fernández Ordoñez. It links the De las Universidades avenue to Abandoibarra riverside walkway.
Memory Lane
Inaugurated in March 2003, it is an open-air space to exhibit sculptures.
Euskalduna Palace
Federico Soriano and Dolores Palacios were in charge of carrying out this ambitious building project. It is considered as one of the most important contemporary architectural works made by Spanish architects. It represents the last ship built in the old Euskalduna shipyard. It is a multifunctional complex located in the city centre, covering as much as 53,000 square metres.

Maritime Museum
The Ría de Bilbao Maritime Museum is located in the docks of the old Euskalduna shipyard, in Abandoibarra, a symbol of a new Bilbao where leisure, culture and business flourish, and of the estuary, which has become the axis of the metropolitan area.
